US ready to put weapons in space

Defence expert says America is likely to ignore treaty ban

America has begun preparing its next military objective - space. Documents reveal that the US Air Force has for the first time adopted a doctrine to establish 'space superiority'.

The new doctrine means that pre-emptive strikes against enemy satellites would become 'crucial steps in any military operation'. This week defence experts will attend a conference in London amid warnings that President Bush's re-election will pave the way to the arming of space.

Internal USAF documents reveal that seizing control of the 'final frontier' is deemed essential for modern warfare. Counterspace Operations reveals that destroying enemy satellites would improve the chance of victory. It states: 'Space superiority provides freedom to attack as well as freedom from attack. Space and air superiority are crucial first steps in any military operation.'

Theresa Hitchens, vice-president of a Washington-based independent think-tank, the Centre for Defence Information, said: 'These documents show that they are taking space control seriously.'

This week's meeting, held by the British-American Security Information Council (Basic), will also discuss whether Britain can restrain a US administration intent on strategic control of space.

Next year's budget for the US Missile Defence Agency includes funding for research into the development of 'space-based interceptors'. Although the funding allocated to develop lightweight ballistic missile parts is only £7.5m, further details have emerged of a more ambitious programme to site weapons in space.

Plans for a 'thin constellation of three to six spacecraft' in orbit, which would target enemy missiles as they took off or landed, are planned, according to Hitchens. The document, said Hitchens, signals that the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, which outlaws the use of weapons in orbit, will be ignored.

Of equal concern to some UK defence experts is Britain's agreement in principle to station US interceptor missiles at RAF Fylingdales, North Yorkshire. Participation in the missile defence programme means that Britain is already 'locked into' a programme that could ultimately include space warfare, say those who are monitoring developments.

'If the UK government tries to argue that it is participating in missile defence, but not in the weaponisation of space, either officials have been duped or they are being disingenuous,' said Hitchens.

Suggestions of a deepening relationship between Britain and America over missile defence surfaced again last week. A parliamentary statement from Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon to Labour MP Llew Smith conceded that the MoD has sent two experts to work at the US Missile Defence Agency. Another two will be sent next year.

In a separate debate last week, defence minister Lord Bach admitted that the US was encouraging Britain to become involved in its missile programme. 'The US has offered to extend coverage and make missile defence capabilities available to the UK and other allies, should we require them,' he said.

This Is My Blurb About The Article
<-----------

You would think that eventually the United States would just give up and start to promote world peace. Nope. Not going to happen here. Now what would be good about that? The more fear that the government injects into the citizens of the United States of America, the more money they will spend on security systems. This would then create a profit for these security companies and some would be given to the government.

Really what is next for the United States. They almost have complete world domination. So in order to keep this they must become more powerful and create an army of asteroids, just in case Canada doesn’t co-operate with them (the US will sic their new found military system on us).

Everyone knows that Bush is up to no good in that White House. And he doesn’t give a crap about his military. As long as he is gettinmg what he wants he will be a very happy man. As far as arming space, he just wants to induce more fear into people.

I really don’t get where the USAF gets their ideas from. How will arming space help anymore than arming on land. Or are there secret laser beams that will burn holes in our atmosphere to kill us slowly. News flash: we are not trying to imitate Austin Powers movies….so dump the laser beam thing, and two: we already have holes in our ozone layer why don’t you fix them up there, it’ll be something productive to do for the government instead of attempt to reenact “Star Trek”®.

“Space superiority provides freedom to attack as well as freedom from attack. Space and air superiority are crucial first steps in any military operation.” Another fear inducing statement. STOP already. Americans are already building bomb shelters again. I think that the best crucial steps in any military operation are to stop the Americans from trying to call them selves a military. They remind me of mindless drones running in circles shooting everything they can.

The Americans fight Germany because Hitler went back on the Treaty of Versailles so that he could gain global dominance. Who fights the Americans when they go against the Outer Space Treaty? It clearly states that no country is to use space for any type of warfare. Oops! Bush must have missed that.

I must lastly say that I shake my head at Britain, they were supposed to be Canada’s friend, but instead they have turned to the dark side. The British shall now become mini Vadars because they shall all turn to the Dark side.

This adds to my theory of how Bush is the anit-Christ.
Sorry if my fello readers that this into any offence or anything or if you don't believe much in my religion, but if you think of it the anti-Christ has a lot of followers and he states that what he is doing will help the world. There will be allies in this whole thing and I am pretty sure that the staes has allies.
But my Theory:
Bush  really just hired all of these terrorists to come and attack the states. I myself, do think it would have been an intelligent plan because if you induce fear into people they will follow some one who acts like a hero. And if you fight the people who hurt the country and win (which Bush did) then you look like a hero. See Bush hires these"terrorist" kamakazi pilots to take out two really important towers in New York, and attempt to take out the pentagon. Then he defeats them. He's the good guy. But there are flaws to his plan. He has killed maybe a little more people than he expected to. People go crazy and start killing innocent people. And probably more other mistakes, that I have not come across yet.
